White Tramit Stone is a popular hybrid architectural stone (sharing characteristics of both travertine and limestone) widely celebrated for its pristine whiteness, smooth texture, and cost-effectiveness. As seen in the product image, this stone is supplied in precision-cut longitudinal plaques featuring a clean, uniform white surface that delivers a striking, minimalist aesthetic for contemporary buildings. Its balanced weight, excellent workability for moldings, and high solar reflectance make it a preferred choice among architects.
In architectural applications, White Tramit is extensively specified for exterior building facades—particularly in modern and neoclassical designs—as well as interior common walls, staircases, and parking levels. Its calcium carbonate matrix bonds reliably with mortar beds. However, due to its higher porosity compared to crystalline marbles or granites, applying a breathable nano water-repellent sealer after installation is strongly recommended to protect the bright white surface against rain absorption and efflorescence.
For secure installation on exterior facades and vertical walls, mechanical anchoring using stainless steel or galvanized scope clips alongside standard polymer-modified cement mortar is essential. To preserve the stone's clean finish over time, avoid harsh acidic cleaners and maintain periodically with plain water and pH-neutral detergents.
