Luxury Iranian Azna White Crystal Marble slabs with striking grey veins & book-match patterns for lobbies, flooring & facades. Request a quote today.
Azna Crystal Marble Slab (internationally known as Bianco Azna or Persian Carrara Crystal) is Iran's premier white metamorphic crystalline marble, quarried from the renowned deposits of Azna County in Lorestan Province. Celebrated for its luminous snow-white crystalline matrix intersected by bold, diagonal silver-grey and charcoal veins, this flagship stone rivals finest Italian white marbles in both aesthetics and structural superiority. Processed on advanced multi-wire saws and reinforced with fiberglass mesh backing, UV-stable transparent epoxy, and diamond abrasives, Azna slabs achieve a flawless mirror-like polish—excelling in dramatic book-matched and four-matched layouts as well as honed and brushed leather finishes.
In architectural and interior design, Azna Crystal Marble stands out for its exceptional physical durability combined with high-end luxury. Thanks to its near-zero water absorption, high compressive strength, superior abrasion resistance, and complete immunity to UV fading and freeze-thaw cycles, it performs effortlessly across both interior and exterior applications. It is extensively specified for grand hotel lobbies, book-matched feature walls, luxury residential flooring, master bathrooms, bespoke kitchen islands, staircases, and contemporary building facades. Additionally, its dense white crystal grains exhibit partial translucency when backlit, enabling striking illuminated architectural features.
Because Azna Crystal Marble has an ultra-dense structure with minimal backside porosity, installation of large-format slabs requires high-bond white polymer-modified adhesives or epoxy mortars alongside stainless steel mechanical anchors or dry-cladding substructures on vertical walls and facades. Using white adhesive is essential to prevent mortar bleed-through and preserve the stone's pure white background. To maintain its mirror gloss over time, avoid harsh acidic cleaners or chemical descalers, and rely on routine cleaning with clean water and pH-neutral stone detergents.
