Iranian Neyriz White Crystal Marble with near-zero water absorption and high durability for facades, flooring & stairs. Contact us for wholesale.
Neyriz Crystal Marble (widely known in Iran as Neyriz Chini Stone) is one of the most renowned and durable metamorphic crystalline limestones quarried in Neyriz County, Fars Province, Iran. Characterized by a bright white and soft silver-grey background interwoven with delicate smoky-grey linear veins, this stone features a tightly interlocked crystalline structure. Because of its exceptional natural density and minimal porosity, Neyriz Crystal Marble achieves a brilliant, mirror-like polish with minimal resin treatment, while also responding remarkably well to honed, brushed leather, sandblasted, and bush-hammered finishes—as well as dramatic book-matched and four-matched slab layouts.
In architectural and structural applications, Neyriz Crystal Marble stands out for its versatility across both interior and exterior environments. Thanks to its near-zero water absorption, high flexural and compressive strength, UV color stability, and superior freeze-thaw resistance, it performs reliably in exterior building facades, high-traffic commercial and residential flooring, staircases, wet bathroom interiors, and outdoor hardscaping. Because its dense crystalline backside absorbs very little water from traditional cement mortar, proper mechanical anchoring or polymer-modified adhesive bonding is essential to ensure maximum structural grip.
For safe and permanent installation on exterior facades and vertical walls, installers must use stainless steel or galvanized scope clips, wire anchors, or dry-cladding systems alongside polymer-enriched cement mortar to prevent detachment caused by thermal expansion or seismic vibrations. To preserve its crystalline luster over time, avoid cleaning the surface with harsh acidic detergents or chemical descalers. Routine washing with clean water and pH-neutral stone cleaners will keep the stone pristine and bright for generations.
